William Paul Young’s journey toward best-selling novelist status was a long one, built upon faith. His first book, The Shack, was written as a Christmas gift for his family and friends. He printed only 15 copies, but was encouraged by his friends to submit it for publication. It was rejected more than 25 times, and then he decided to independently publish it in 2007.
Word-of-mouth catapulted The Shack to the top of the charts, where it became the top-selling trade paperback fiction and audiobook for 2008. To date, over 25 million copies have sold. Young followed up that success with Crossroads, a deep meditation on healing and redemption. And now, he brings us Eve, a fictional exploration of the woman at the center of our origin story.
