Prior to joining Aevitas, Rick spent over a decade on Simon & Schuster’s Executive Committee in the roles of President, Children’s Book Division and President of Sales and Distribution. His current clients range from first time authors to celebrated journalists writing in the subject areas of self-help, music and pop culture, military history and memoir, history, thriller, business, celebrity, sports celebrity and faith. He has deep experience and interest in children’s books, having overseen two of the nation’s top children’s publishers: Simon & Schuster (President and Publisher) and Candlewick Press (CEO).
