Author Update: Tom Piazza Appearance Canceled

We regret to inform our Festival-goers that Tom Piazza will no longer be able to appear at the 2026 Savannah Book Festival.

While we were looking forward to his presentation on Living in the Present with John Prine, unforeseen circumstances have made his attendance impossible. We know many of you were excited for this session, and we share in your disappointment.

What you need to know:

• Schedule Changes: Please check our updated Festival Saturday Schedule for alternative authors during Tom Piazza’s timeslot.

• Book Purchases: You can still find copies of Tom Piazza’s works through our official Festival booksellers.

• Free Festival Saturday Authors: Our full lineup still features over 40 incredible authors, including Jane Smiley, Kevin Wilson, and Gary Shteyngart, who will be appearing as planned on February 7, 2026.
