The Road to Festival Saturday
While the Opening and Keynote Headliner Addresses are a star-studded highlight, it’s all leading up to the true heartbeat of the Savannah Book Festival: Free Festival Saturday.
On February 7, we take over the squares for a full day that is free and open to the public. It’s our biggest celebration of community and literacy, and Opening Headliner Sean Dietrich, Keynote Headliners Brad Thor with Ward Larson kick off our four-day Festival, and Closing Headliner, Leigh Bardugo brings the literary weekend to an enchanting close.
Pro-Tip: Set an alarm for 9:55 AM on January 9. You won’t want to be a minute late to secure your spot for the opening chapters of our 2026 festival!
