Savannah is a food-lovers town! To spice up our Festival Saturday, Savannah Book Festival is pleased to announce a variety of options around or near Telfair Square throughout the day to provide food and drinks to Festival goers.
Our Festival food partners, Leopold’s Ice Cream, and The Grey Market, will be creating delicious fare with a fun, SBF focus. An array of aroma-filled food trucks will be parked around Telfair Square.
While no food or drink is allowed in the Jepson or church venues, concessions are available at The Savannah Theatre and can be enjoyed inside the theater.
Leopold’s Ice Cream
For over a century, Savannah’s legendary Leopold’s Ice Cream has been serving up “Good Things to Eat, Good Things to Drink” in beautiful, historic downtown Savannah. Their award-winning, homemade super-premium ice cream, unchanged since 1919, to their made from scratch soups, sandwiches, salads and freshly baked treats, you’re sure to find something memorable at Leopold’s.
During the Savannah Book Festival, Leopold’s renames its delicious flavors to honor the authors participating in the Festival. Stop by to see how your favorite author is honored. Look for the amazing Leopold’s Ice Cream cart riding around the squares on Festival Saturday to enjoy a delectable snack between author presentations.
