Colleen Hoover has been a writer since the age of five. Her first book, Mystery Bob, sold few copies, but won critical acclaim from her mother. As an adult, the east Texas former social worker and mother of three continued writing during her precious off-hours, focusing on the genre of new-adult fiction.
After self-publishing Slammed just for fun, Hoover quickly noticed readers downloading her work and posting positive reviews on book blogs. Eventually Slammed hit the New York Times best-seller list.
Today, publishing via Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, she boasts six novels on that list, including Maybe Someday, Hopeless and Ugly Love.
Her latest novel, Confess, releases in March 2015.
